Hi my name is Kayla, I’m a hairstylist at Maven & Co. Collective. I’m so happy we’ve found each other!

As someone with curls who has struggled on their hair journey, I’ve found a great passion to help other people with their curly hair, helping them truly love their natural curls and know how to care for them at home!

Along with textured hair styling and cutting, I have love for everything in the industry from cuts to color to extensions! I have been in the industry for over 2 years now, and I am so happy to say I am certified in Bellami extensions! The thing I appreciate most about my job is that there’s never too much you can learn. I have learned so many techniques in highlighting, foilyage, and balayage, I can not wait to expand my knowledge even more in these upcoming years! I specialize in haircutting and extensions, but I will jump at any opportunity to transform someone’s hair, whether it be color, extensions, or even a simple haircut, because nothing feels better than feeling AND looking your best!

My goal is to have everyone that sits in my chair, walk away feeling more confident and excited to go into their day, because they feel like the best versions of themselves, with knowledge on how to care for their hair at home as well!

When I’m not working behind the chair, I am most likely spending my time with family and friends, going to the gym and my love language is 100% cooking and baking for my loved ones.
